These are the stories written by Khandekar in the first decade as a story writer, but were not summated. This collection includes his story "Ghar Konache` which was not read much as was not published before. In the beginning, Khandekar used to write very detailed and lengthy stories resembling the chapters of novels. The language, the style, the social life, the emotional status will sound very sweet to our ears now after almost a centenary. The emotional aspect gives a clear idea about the nature, life, problems and culture of the society at the beginning of the 20th century. Though these stories were pen down by Khandekar in his early years as a writer, they still have the same quality. They all are full with confidence towards living. These stories from the last century are readable in this century itself proves their value as study material.
